Financial Controller

Kforce's client in the Kenosha area is seeking a Controller to provide strategic leadership on all financial metrics and partner with the leadership team to define and execute annual objectives. This role involves owning financial forecasting and reporting, driving finance activities within a matrixed environment, and establishing tactical plans. The Financial Controller will also lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff, managing performance and talent development proactively, reporting directly to the CFO.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles with managerial experience of multi-functional accounting teams
• Certified Public Accountant

• MBA preferred
• Background or exposure in/to manufacturing is preferable

Summary: In this role, the Controller will provide strategic leadership on all financial metrics related to the company and will partner with the leadership team to define an execute annual objectives, and own financial forecasting and reporting. This person must be a strong leader with the ability to drive finance activities within a matrixed environment, capable of establishing tactical plans and be accountable for the results. The Financial Controller will provide leadership, mentoring and development for accounting staff, managing performance and talent development in a proactive manner. This position reports to the CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
• Certified Public Accountant
• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles with managerial experience of multi-functional accounting teams
• Background or exposure in/to manufacturing is preferable
• Working Conditions: Hybrid

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
